Lesson 20: Play Your Part
Time: 60 minutes
Materials: Lesson 20 video; Costumes including headdresses, tools, gadgets and accessories; index cards with poems; The Daily Doodle notebooks.
Overview: Students get ready for the most fun and important day in The Universe Within! Today they’ll parade around and share their most amazing creative work as world-builders!
They’ve already prepared most everything for today through the process of creating their characters, props and poems from their unique worlds! They’ve taken on the role of scientists, engineers, mathematicians, writers, costume designers, and now performers!
Now they’ll share what they’ve created so that others can enjoy it and see what they’ve learned. They’re reminded that they’re a very special team of world-builders.
As they go to their designated location, they receive a few tips to help them make a deeper connection. The main thing is, when they wear their headgear, they’ll be transported to the world they’ve created.
