Open Your Imagination
Time: 60 minutes
Materials: Lesson 1 video; The Daily Doodle digital notebooks.
Overview: Students take a personal journey to the imagination center inside of them!
They begin this adventure with a daily practice that could change their lives and the world around them! It’s The Daily Doodle. They learn what a doodle is and why capturing their ideas in a notebook every day is a valuable tool that will help them grow their imagination and make their ideas become reality.
Students start by using their imaginations to come up with a major problem that their characters will tackle. They imagine…If you had the power to change one thing in the world, what would it be?
Students brainstorm pressing problems they’ve seen in the world. They choose a social problem they care about that negatively impacts people’s lives or an environmental problem that harms our planet. They think about 3 possible solutions to the problem.
